Swami then indicated page 128,
... The world is not built with random bricks of Chance. Many are the
masons obeying the Unseen that have built it. And of these master builders
Savithri is one.
This is what Swami indicated, let us see. Here Aurobindo says that the world is not
built by bricks, which have no connection; none has been done by chance. There is Karana,
the cause, and Kaarya, bringing into action. There is both reason and action. Thus, the
functioning of the world is through continuous reason and action. A man has a lineage; he
belongs to a particular clan. This goes on continuously. In this world, there are many
castes, religions and different groups that all function in harmony. Each religion has a
founder, caste and clan. All expands in this way. It is said that the world is built by many
masons, who all act under God. Who are these masons? They are Avatars, saints, sages
and the founders of the different religions, who together make a harmonious world.
Many different religions have come to this world. Each man lives according to the
dharma of his religion. There is also dharma of caste and clan. All live in this way. Kings
rule their kingdoms and countries with justice. In these many countries, philosophers
come and show the path to the people. Yet, when dharma declines, Avatars descend to
guide humanity. The Maharishis came, collated the Vedas and Upanishads and also
showed the path to man. Veda Vyasa came and formulated the 18 Puranas and the four
Vedas. The epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata appeared to guide humanity. The
Bhagavad Gita came to the world, many sages practiced its message and the teachings
therein. Thus, all is built by many people. Among them Savithri is also one.
This world functions continuously through the will of an Unseen God. Swami
descended and has shown this. He said that there is only one God, who is all pervasive.
Everywhere are His eyes, ears, hands and legs. Thus, all are equal. No one should find fault

with another. This is what He taught.
